Ahh..what can I say that won't get me in trouble with the boys for not boosting up 'cycling cred' with a higher bicycle count?

Anyway, first things first, I'll let you in on a little secret…prior to working at Dirt Works, getting from point A to point B was a matter of simply driving or catching the train. Oh how silly I was, or if you happen to be in the generation of Y, I was a certified NOOB. Walking through the doors of Dirt Works, I spotted this small white framed bike with a quick release hinge in the middle of the frame- it was love at first sight! Combined with the incredible bike love emanating from all the staff here, I was hooked and bought the bike as soon as I could! Thus, started my own appreciation for what the French call 'velos'.

From then until now, I regularly cycle to work – screw cars and trains (unless it is raining something fierce) and love to go on weekend cycles with my dog in the front basket.

Currently I'm on the hunt for a hardtail bike with 700c wheels to fit a 5 footer. Oxymoron? Yes. Impossible? Maybe. So if you see a small girl wearing some ultra dark sunnies bigger than her face riding a small, white folding bike with a fluffy white dog in tow, say hello! It most probably will be me, but they do say there is at least one other person in the world that looks like you…I think. Whatevs…
